Bourjois Volume Fast & Perfect mascara: Samantha from Pixiwoo is always raving about this mascara. I loved the idea of a motor which rotates the brush so I had to try it for myself.
I'm really liking it: the rotation movement helps to grab every single small lash and really lift them; also, the brush is super soft.
Only a piece of advise if you decide to buy it: check that it works! I bought one but then I had to return it because it wouldn't start. I took it back and the sales assistant tried ALL OF THEM in the shop and none worked so I had to go to another Superdrug and finally get a substitute.
Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover: but of course, everybody is going crazy over this wee pot and I had to experience the magic too! :)
There's a foam lining soaked in remover inside so you just dip & twist 1 finger at the time - simple!
This is some super-industrial-strength remover, for sure. I'm pretty amazed how quickly removes even the most stubborn polishes (glitter, I'm talking about you!).
The best part is that it's acetone and paraben free and it smells sweet, too.

Sleek Pout Polish SPF15 in Peach Perfection: I've been wanting to try this lip balms for some time now but they are often out of stock in store.
I read that these are quite well pigmented and I wanted a light shade so I decide for Peach Perfection, in the end.
It's very glossy on the lips but not sticky, pretty moisturising and it has SPF - definitely, I will buy some more.
Thanks for reading!! :)
I had that Sleek lip balm but I have to say I'm not that impressed. It's not bad but.. I don't know... I'm not in to it.
ReplyDeleteOh shame. :( I'm actually really liking it... And I'm usually very fussy. ;)
DeleteA motorised mascara wand sounds crazy - but intriguing! Love the Pout Polish shade you got :)
ReplyDeleteIt's genius, actually... Hehe. Works very well to length and it's sooo easy to use.
DeleteLove Sleek pout polishes, although they taste a bit metallic-ey to me! That one looks gorgeous

Oh, I think it tastes like vanilla. Hehe. Everybody' perception is different, I suppose ;)
DeleteI definitely need to get my hands on some of that polish remover! x
ReplyDeleteYeah, you got to try it. It's amazing!!
DeleteI wish that nail polish remover was available where I live! I hate taking off my polish as I find it really burdensome, but that remover seems to be really effective. I bought the Bourjois mascara because of Sam's constant use/raving of it, but I wasn't that pleased. It think it works better if you already have quite long, full and nice lashes. I found it also is better if I used it as a normal mascara for the first coat, and then turned on the rotation for the second one :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'll find the polish remover soon in shops... It's such a best seller, it's gonna be released worth wide ( and copied by other brands too). Xx
DeleteGreat new goodies:)
ReplyDeleteThank you. :)
DeleteThat nail polish remover is the greatest thing!
