L'Occitane Lotion Divine

At first I was puzzled with L'Occitane Lotion Divine*. I thought it was a lotion in the sense of a light moisturizer but too runny for that and, at the same time, it's not a toner either. After a bit of research, I realized that it's actually a treatment for the skin.
I'm already a big fan of the Immortelle line: the Precious Eye Balm is up there in my Top3 favourite eye creams and the Essential Face Water is a staple in my morning routine.
Immortelle is actually known as the everlasting flower because it never fades, even after it has been picked; Its organic essential oil and water are rich in anti-aging properties and L'Occitane harvests the Corsican variety which is the highest in concentration of active molecules.

The yellow bottle looks luxurious on my sink top and the product itself delivers great results too. I've been using it for few weeks now and I can't believe the difference that it has made to my skin; I was already quite content with the appearance of my skin... but this is a new level of satisfaction!
It's not an overnight change but you will SEE the improvement. The skin feels silky smooth and tired, dull complexions are infused with a brand new lease of life. It also preserves skin's own equilibrium and enhances the benefits from other skincare products.

You apply it morning and evening, before moisturizer; you can use both hands or cotton pads and I prefer the latter, because of the liquid consistency. I spread it on the face and neck with outwards movements and then pat with the palm of my hands. This massage helps the draining process and firms the skin.
The delicate, floral scent has also an uplifting effect and you feel transported in a field on the Mediterranean coast.
A real treat for the senses that most definitely lives up to its name!

Delivery / Super by Dr. Nicholas Perricone

This morning, I received my parcel from Cocosa.
I have few products that I'm trying atm, so I'm not sure when I'll get around to do a proper review; anyway, I thought I'd share this with you now as these products are still available on the website - and you can get a better feel, if you're interested in buying them...

So, what did I get?
- First Blush Brightening Serum
- Night Recharge Retinol Treatment
- Lush Lips Conditioning Balm

green commitment statement

Ok, I admit it: I'm a sucker for a pretty packaging... and I love these - I, also, love the frosted glass of the bottles.

The Night Recharge comes with a separate pump and First Blush comes with a dropper applicator, instead.

Lush Lips comes in a pot... and what can I say, it smells like coconut (obviously) equals perfection! Did I mention that I love EVERYTHING COCONUT??!
It's pretty thick but melts with the heat and reminds me of Nuxe Reve de Miel, minus the grittiness.

that is definitely a FULL jar
For what I read around, these products seem to deliver instant results - especially the Night Recharge, where the astaxanthin (from the red algae) is a potent antioxidant that gives shrimps and salmons their pinky colour and should mimic the same on your cheeks: we'll see... but I'm excited to give it a go!

Finally, I'm very pleased with the service from this website: it's similar to BrandAlley and I have ordered only once from both but the Cocosa' order arrived in 2 days, whilst the BrandAlley took over a month - so kudos for that!

Have you tried anything from Super yourself?

Introducing / Forest Secrets

Today, I'm going to talk about this brand that I've recently discovered; Forest Secrets is a rage of natural cosmetic products, created in 2007 by Barbara Olioso. Barbara, a Doctor in Chemistry, worked for many years in the Cosmetic industry but found herself dissatisfied and disappointed by the use of synthetic chemicals in many of them so decided to created a truly natural range, made without compromises.
Forest Secrets is now based in England but I like the history behind it: Barbara was born in Italy and - growing up - learnt from her Great Grandmother the benefits of herbs to treat all type of ailments and from here started her fascination and relationship with nature.

I had the pleasure to try the starter kit which consists of the iRejuvenate Plus Elixir, iRejuvenate Plus Serum & iBright Serum.
The beauty of this system is that you can create your own blend - mixing different proportions of the concentrates - based on your needs.

The Elixir is the constant at the base of  this skincare and then you add the serum based on your skin type and concerns.
It's a face oil with the main role to stimulate the skin's own collagen production.

Then, we have the iRejuvenate Plus Serum which is the other key ingredient if  you're a looking for an anti-aging treatment.
Otherwise, you may choose the iBright Serum which targets skin pigmentation and spots instead. This product can also be used topically on specific blemishes.

I find myself getting benefits from both serums so I've been alternating them on different days, depending how my face feels and looks.
This little kit will completely replace your skincare: you use it morning and evening like a face cream, on cleansed skin and will last well over 2 weeks.
I have seen such a great improvement to my skin: I woke up the morning after the first application and my skin looked definitely clearer and brighter. Also, it's very comfortable on the skin, not greasy and I had no problem to use it as a base for make up.

It also comes with this helpful beauty passport with suggestions on how to create your personalised skincare and details about all the goodness of the ingredients in it. It's very simple, colour-coded and every bottle has a easy dropper for dosage.

I would really suggest to investigate this brand on the website www.forestsecretsskincare.com - and let me know what you think! :)
