Review / Nourish Relax Hydrating Peptide Serum #Campaign4Clarity #OrganicBeauty

Continuing with Organic September and the Campaign For Clarity, running this week - Nourish is another brand joining in the cause and deserving to be labelled organic and recognised by the Soil Association.
You can also read more about this initiative here> www.soilassociation.org/campaignforclarity

I've talked about Nourish Skincare several times before - and in particular the Revital-Eyes Kale Biomimetic Anti-Ageing Eye Cream is one of my must have and always on rotation in my routine.
Recently, I've been using the Nourish Relax Hydrating Peptide Serum that is approve by the Soil Association and a skin super hero!

This serum is a fantastic helper to reduce irritation and calm down inflammation; it's particularly recommended if you struggle with problematic and sensitive skin.
The barely-there lavender scent is also calming on the mind and ideal as a last step before bedtime; it feels light and cool on the skin and absorbs in a matter of minutes.
I've been really enjoying using it at nights and most importantly I haven't had any irritation flare up.
In the mornings, it's perfect to create a smooth canvas for my foundation thanks to the hyaluronic acid that plumps up the skin and reduce fine lines.

If you are on the market for a new serum, this is one to try - you can get yours on nourishskinrange.com

Review / Nourish Balance Vita-Boost Body Cream

Nourish have recently relaunched their body creams and I'm pleased to see that they have been repackaged in a pump tub; there are still 4 lines - Balance, Radiance, Protect and Relax - that complement the relevant shower gels.
I'm a big fan of the Radiance range (you can read more here) but this time I decided to go for the Balance moisturiser because I'm still in full post-partum body crisis and this product promises to smooth and tone the skin.
Nourish Balance Vita-Boost Body Cream* contains natural apple extracts that boosts elasticity and photo-active marine algin, hyaluronic acid and peptides that stimulate collagen synthesis to improve suppleness and firmness.

The crisp apple scent and comfortable & refreshing consistency make it perfect for Spring/Summer, especially. It has become a pleasant ritual and - although it's too early to see any difference on the firming front - it is a very good moisturiser so far, thanks to African shea butter.

This product is 81% Organic and remember that Nourish is certified organic by the Soil Association and Cruelty Free - All products available from nourishskinrange.com.

New In / Nourish Kale Enzymatic Exfoliating Cleanser

I’m a big fan of the Nourish Revital-Eyes Kale Biomimetic Anti-Ageing Eye Cream and in fact it’s been a staple in my everyday routine for months. So, I was mostly excited when I heard about the new addition to the kale range with the Nourish Kale Enzymatic Exfoliating Cleanser*.

Let’s give merit where merit lies! This product is a multitasker and an half!
First of all, it can be used as a cleanser. You massage it over wet skin to create a milky emulsion;
then it can also be used as a flash daily mask, if you leave it on pose for 2 minutes; or as a weekly treatment, applied on clean and dry skin for 5 minutes and finally rinsed it off with some cold water.
My personal favourite is as cleanser - it leaves the skin soft and clean; but also as a mask - it’s great to refresh the complexion and mute down any redness.

The consistency is like a grainy cream, green in colour and with a slight leafy scent, which is quite peculiar and pleasant; I love the natural approach and the use of quality ingredients that is a guarantee when talking about Nourish. I just wish the tube was a bit bigger, I’m going through this baby like crazy and I use it everyday.

Empties / Summer 2014

Hello chicas!
You may have noticed that I’ve been absent for some time; I haven’t been feeling really well lately but now I’m better and I thought to easy myself into the Blogosphere again with an inoffensive (and overdue) Empties post. ;)

Weleda Wild Rose Creamy Body Wash: I adore these body washes, especially for the shower since they don't foam up a great amount; they are so creamy, don’t dry the skin and last ages. I really like the tube, which is practical for the shower. Wild Rose is not my favourite scent but it’s pretty delicate.
Repurchase: yes, I already have a stash ;)

St. Tropez Gradual Tan Firming Plus: I don’t use self-tan products regularly, but I like to keep a bottle in my stash for special occasions (e.i.: weddings, holidays); this is fool-proof to apply and develops slowly, so also risk-free. It has firming properties - which is always a bonus - a fresh scent and no 'biscuity' at all.
Repurchase: Yep.

The Body Shop Shea Sugar Body Scrub: You can't go wrong with The Body Shop scrubs; they come in all different scents and consistencies. The shea is one of my favourites - love the buttery scent and the sugar particles provide very good exfoliation; it's a tad oily, so be aware if this is not your thing.
Repurchase: Absolutely!

Nip+Fab Bust Fix Plumping Treatment: This was a sample from a magazine and I had been wanting to try it for ages; quite a generous size for a freebie too. The product itself is very pleasant on the skin, lightweight & not greasy and a comforting scent... but it's too pricey in my opinion.
Repurchase: no, because of the price tag.

Nourish Radiance Purifying Cleanser: This is a cleansing milk and it has been a staple in my routine for many many mornings; I like to be 'delicate' in the morning and simply put some on a cotton wool, followed by a toner - no stripping products for me, thank you!
I love that it's 93% organic, which is something that I'm starting to pay particular attention to, lately.
Repurchase: maybe - I really like it, but you can easily find cheaper alternatives too.

REN Glycolactic Skin Renewal Peel Mask: This is a lovely mask, but I kinda of find that all REN masks are very similar. This provides a chemical exfoliation, thanks to the acids in it, and it has a lovely fruity/pineapple scent. It left my skin super clean and brownie points for the natural approach too.
Repurchase: probably no - I'm currently addicted to the REN Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial.

La Roche-Posay Ceralip: this is a lip balm as strip down as it can get; no perfume, colour - simple wax to sooth and repair the lips. I've been using it on-and-off for over 10 years now... and it delivers! It's also recommended if you suffer from allergies and rashes.
Repurchase: yes.

Introducing / Nourish Skin & Body Care

Nourish understands that different skin types have different needs so has created a range for everyone. Every system solution delivers the optimal ingredients in order to keep an healthy and nourished skin.

My skin has been looking a bit dull lately so I've started using some Nourish products from the Radiance line. I've been reaching out for natural and soothing products more, lately and I was pleased to find out that every product is 90+% organic.

Nourish Radiance Purifying Cleanser* contains rose absolute which is cooling and soothing and gives it its lovely fragrance; all you rose-addicts out there will love this product and its unique twist on the rose scent. Another main ingredients is alpine foxberry which is known for its brightening properties and helps reduce the appearance of pore, leaving the skin looking luminous and refined.
The consistency is like a cleansing milk and comes with a pump; directions say to apply a small amount on a cotton wool and gently sweep over the face. I have been using it this way when I don't wear make up and I think it's perfect to get rid of the day grim and pollution on its own - It leaves my skin clean without being too aggressive. On other nights, I mix it with a drop of water and helps to remove the first layer of make up.

The Nourish Radiance Refreshing Toning Mist* has the same quality ingredients and it's the perfect compliment to finish my daily routine, after the cleanser. In the mornings, I like to spray it on a cotton wool pad, whist at night I spray it liberally all over my face, neck & chest and then pat dry.
It's extremely cooling, helps balancing the skin pH and apparently, the fragrance has mood enhancing qualities and boosts inner confidence... a treat for body and mind!

Nourish also takes care of your body wellbeing with shower gels, body butters and hand lotions.
Nourish Radiance Phyto-Active Body Butter* has the same rose scent as the skincare line; it's deeply nourishing and hydrating thanks to moroccan argan oil and shea butter, without being heavy; it also contains phyto-active marine algin, hyaluronic acid and peptides that stimulate collagen synthesis and improve firmness. I'm currently using a self-tan cream a couple of times a week but it can dry my skin slightly; I found that this body butter is ideal to use between self-tanning sessions because it leaves my skin super soft.
It also comes in a gorgeous and colourful glass jar, making it a great present too.

Go and have a look on the website - nourishskinrange.com - the range is vast and they also do handy gift packs so you can try the all range at once.
