Pür Minerals Show Off Collection

Pür Minerals Show Off Collection* is a 6-piece set, part of the Christmas Collection 2013 - It contains 3 eyeshadow sticks and 3 cheeks & lips products.
It's the perfect present for the make-up addict in your family or, believe me, it's worth investing as a treat for yourself, especially with the party season upon us!
These crayons are the perfect size for your handbag or your office kit and you can go from day to night look in a few minutes.
It's no secret that I'm a big fan of Pür Minerals and once again, I'm impressed with the quality and the gorgeous, pigmented shades. The eyeshadows are vitamin enriched and the lip/cheek glosses are very hydrating, thanks to shea butter and jojoba oil.

Eyeshadow Sticks in: Exposed, Unveiled, Staged

top - bottom: exposed, unveiled, staged

The eyeshadows are easy to modulate to the desired degree, for a natural look or a smokey eye.
During the day - I like to use Unveiled as a base colour and then apply Exposed to the waterline and inner corner, to make me look more awake.
For a night look - I simply add Staged to the crease and blend (to add depth) and smudge below the eye.... easy-peasy!
Exposed is a vanilla colour with a hint of pink, Unveiled is the perfect burned gold and Staged - my favourite - is a chocolate with purple sheen.

Lipgloss Sticks in: Pucker, Taunt, Fling

top - bottom: pucker, fling, taunt

These pink pencils are the perfect consistency and colours for both lips & cheeks.
They are non-sticky and blend seamlessly on the cheeks, giving a healthy, blushing-from-within look; at the same time, they deliver a punch of pigmentation on the lips, without being drying.
I particularly love Fling, which is the perfect shade of berry for autumn! Taunt - the deepest shade - compliments the cool tones of Staged and it's great to channel the wine stained lips of this season. Finally, Pucker is a light pink - beautiful and glossy on the lips and also works to perk up the complexion on the apple of the cheeks.

Pür Minerals is available from Marks & Spencer nationwide - link

Introducing / Moccis

Moccis

Today, I have the perfect Christmas present to share with you... Here come the Moccis!
Moccis was founded few year ago by Anna Wetterlin when she realised that these Swedish moccasins were absent from the Uk market.
They are ideal for toddlers and young children that tend to remove their socks every 2 seconds and they are safe too, thanks to the skid proof leather soles.
They come in 35 cute designs, in luxurious cotton or wool and they are machine washable; they are also made the traditional way in a factory in Sweden and they are hand-sewn!

And the awesome part is that they are available for adults too!!!
Given my love for owls, I couldn't not get the Love 4 An Owl* model :)
They are super comfortable and light that you don't even notice that you're wearing them; they are the perfect partner for your slanket, when you want to snug on the sofa and keep your toes toasty during these winter months.
They are also great for travelling because they take barely any space at all and hygienic for when your wee ones are at nursery.

They just feel and look very well made and most certainly they are la creme de la creme of slippers!
Get yours on www.Moccis.co.uk, starting from £34.97 with free delivery - There's currently an offer where you buy one, get one half price.
Have you heard of the Moccis before?

Shopping My Stash / #8 + Giveaway Reminder!!!

Another week, another shopping my stash!
For the base I used Stila One Step Correct Brightening Serum and Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation in 42 vanilla - both favourites of mine. The primer is not oily or heavy and the foundation gives a beautiful, flawless finish to the skin. My skin has been oilier than usual lately so I'm really taking care to use a powder to set - Mac Mineralize SkinFinish Natural in medium is a trusty ally that never looks cakey.

I've also been in the mood for bold red lips so I used a combination of Mac Marilyn Monroe Lipstick in scarlet ibis and Maybelline Baby Lips in cherry me to top up the moist, throughout the day.
I chose Mac Sheertone Blush in blushbaby which is the perfect 'neutral' blush but with a red/brick undertone to tie with the lips perfectly.

I like big & bright eyes with a red lip - I used the Nars Trio Eyeshadow in ramatuelle and built up the lashes with Kiko False Lashes Concentrate Building Base Mascara and Pur Minerals Big Blink Mascara. I thickened the top lashline with Bourjois Intuitive liner and added Rimmel ScandalEyes Waterproof Kohl Line in nude to further open the eyes.

Neve Cosmetics Twenties Icon Collection

Neve Cosmetics New Collection - Twenties Icon - is super exciting. Who doesn't like the roaring twenties with its art deco style, flapper dresses and bold make up?!
This collection evokes those years with plums, browns, greens - for the eyes - and nostalgic pink blushes to complement a flawless and pale complexion.

The jars are gorgeous and limited edition with an art deco design. The collection includes 4 eyeshadows, 2 eyeliners and 2 blushes and all products are suitable for vegetarians and vegans too.

Chiffon Mineral Eyeshadow* is a pale mauve with pink and gold sparkle and works particularly well wet. It really comes to life under the light, so it's great to add an iridescence touch to an evening look. Also lip-safe.

Jazz Mineral Eyeshadow* is an intense green, nearly matte with tiny silver glitter particles; it's ideal for a smokey eye or as a blending crease colour.

Scarlet Mineral Blush* is matte dusty pink that complements any skintone; it adds the right amount of flash to the cheeks, thanks to the brick undertone, without competing with the bold eyes and lips. It blends easily and builds to the desired effect.  It simple brings any look together!

Finally, the 2 Pastello Natural Eyeliners that are also my favourite items of the collection :)
They are both extremely soft and don't pull on the eyelid, on application.
I like to use Vanita'* - the purple shade - to thicken the top lashline and because it's soooo soft, it also smudges beautifully. It's soo pretty, with pink and orange glitter.
Cincilla'* - is a bit more unusual but absolutely gorgeous - a satin warm taupe with pink shimmer.
I've been using it on my lower lashline to add luminosity to the eyes; it's also beautiful applied as an eyeshadow all over the lid.

Next on the list is Tobacco - a duochrome brown/green with coral sparkle... sounds divine!!!
Will you be trying anything from this collection?

New In / The Body Shop Vineyard Peach Body Butter

The Body Shop Vineyard Peach Body Butter

The Body Shop is a brand that doesn't need any introduction! It's internationally loved and I still remember buying my first white musk body mist, soon to be teenager, in my hometown in Italy.
I like that you can fall in love with a scent and get a whole line of products that complement each other.
All the fragrances are gorgeous and I haven't come across one that I don't like yet - from the classic & fruity Strawberry, to the zesty Sweet Lemon and to the more unusual like Olive or Hemp.
Also, there's always a promotion or offer you can take advantage of and stock up on your favourite items.

For example, the new The Body Shop Vineyard Peach Body Butter* is the most authentic nectarine scent and you get truly transported to a summery orchard with every application.
This body butter is buttery (doh) in the sense that literally melts into the skin and also replenishes the ideal level of hydration, leaving the skin suitably moisturized but not greasy.

Personally, I'm also a fan of their jars: they are practical, you can stack them up (I always have a stash in my bathroom cabinet anyway) and you can scoop every last bit of product.
The Vineyard Peach items are perfect to prolong that warm summer feeling, juicy and incredibly mouth-watering - unfortunately, unfit for consumption! ;)

*I just noticed you can get yours on sale here... be quick, before I buy them all!!!*

Haul / Clothes & Accessories

Autumn always puts me in the mood for shopping. I love buying winter stuff - the colours, the textures, the variety... when it comes to clothes hauls, I'm never sure what to say - Pictures definitely speak louder than words so here is what I picked up recently.

Forever 21 Life In Progress Bleached Denim Shirt Dress
I've been looking for a denim shirt dress exactly like this one, for while!
I can take or leave the bleached effect, but the length is perfect (not too short that I can also wear it at the office) and it has a built-in braided leather elastic belt. I think it would look super sexy with cowboy boots - unfortunately, I just have regular boots ;)

Zara Denim Skater Skirt
A cute weekend alternative - I'm planning to wear it casual with a white shirt tucked in and trainers.

Zara Pinstripe Mini Skirt
There are some fab skirts in Zara, this season!
Love the pinstripes, the ruffle and the fabric is super soft... it's not that mini either.

Dorothy Perkins Cobalt Twist Neck Tee
Something comfortable for the office. I like the texturized effect and what a gorgeous colour... although it looks like it's going to crease like crazy, otherwise I would get one in every colour - it's a nice basic top.

Dorothy Perkins Mirrored Floral Print
I've been wanting this for a while: I like the mirrored effect, the floral, the pastels and the more you look the more you see stuff (never noticed the ballerina until now). It's very flattering on, too!

I scored these Warehouse earrings for £2 - woop woop - I think they are cute! :)

Also, picked up a couple of items from the Asos sales:

Matt And Nat Japanese Paper Wallet
I thought the distressed effect was pretty cool and also the wrap around string. It looks pretty roomy but at the same time compact and flat.

Becksondergaard C-Starry Sky Burgundy Scarf
umm, like I need another scarf (!)
Personally, I don't know this brand but there is a bunch of different scarves on sale for £8, down from £33 so I decided to buy one and then see if I liked it. I like it! :)
It's very long but thin so you can wrap it around easily; I like burgundy and the silver stars that are stitched on.

... that's all folks! :)

Birthday Presents 2013

Fossil Link Charm Starter Bracelet in Blue
I'm not a great fan of charm bracelets but I love the chain on this one with the pop of blue enamel - I picked it, btw! ;) I definitely want more, in different colours and pile them on with an oversize watch.

Jawbone UP
The Jawbone UP is a wristband tracker, that you basically wear all the time and gives you a better insight into your lifestyle. It's a pedometer for a starter, monitors your sleeping pattern and you have the option to set an alarm clock that it's supposed to wake you up at the ideal time. It has an app where you can add extra info, like food/exercise diary and yes, the only thing that it's missing is an heart monitor that could be useful at the gym.
I'm actually pretty excited to give it a go - let me know if you'd be interested in a full review in a few months.

Pull & Bear Pug T-Shirt
My sister knows me well and keeps feeding my pug obsession! I love how regal he looks in the portrait and with a precious gems necklace... hehe Classic! :D

Tiger cute scissors - Romantic Initial Necklace

 Skyn Iceland Icelandic Relief Kit
I saw this set on offer in Marks&Spencer so I asked my husband to get it for me.
I adore the Skyn Iceland Glacial Face Wash and my skin's been playing up lately, so I thought it was the perfect time to try more products from the brand. I think it's great value for £14 - I will review the single items, once I have tried them.

Boux Avenue Sunglasses Giraffe Pajamas
How cheeky looking is tha giraffe? Certainly makes me smile and the material is soooo suuuper soooft!!!
