Xmas 2015 / Buon Natale from Kiko Milano

Kiko Milano does Christmas BIG style! The Cosmic Starlets Holiday Collection includes holiday gifts, holiday single make up items and also skincare & fragrances.
All the products come packaged in a festive red & silver design with bows and bespoken cases.

Part of the Cosmic Starlets make-up range - Kiko Milano Cosmic Glam Kajal-Eyeliner Duo is a double ended pen with a bright kajal on one side and bold liquid eyeliner on the other.
03 Denim Blue* has a bright shimmer light blue teamed with an intense royal blue. The kajal is super smooth and easy to blend as an eyeshadow on the whole eyelid; the eyeliner applicator is easy to use, steady and doesn't drag on the skin. You can also use the kajal just to rim the eye and create a smokey look.

Kiko Milano Dazzling Highlighter is a cream, illuminating stick; it comes in 03 Pure Gold* and 04 Bright Rose* and they are both beautiful - I couldn't pick a favourite. They are subtly different but they are different!
The added radiance to the cheeks is guaranteed with a effortless swipe of the product, directly on the skin.
They have high-reflecting pearls and the formula contains natural waxes, jojoba oil and rice oil giving it a silky soft feel.

top - bottom: bright rose, pure gold
The gift sets are even more amazing!
The Kiko Milano Angel Kiss Set contains a jar of exfoliating scrub for the lips and a lip balm in matching colours.
Cranberry Crumble is in a purple hue - both name & colour ideal for autumn/winter season.
The scrub contains sugar crystals to soften and smooth the lips whilst the lip balm moisturises and soothes the skin; it leaves just an hint of colour with a glossy finish.

Kiko Milano Twin Stars Nail Lacquer & Lipstick is another well thought present; the elegant gift package is in the cute shape of a tree ornament and contains a matte lipstick with matching nail polish.
You can choose between 4 shades but you certainly can't go wrong with 04 Uniquely Red*!
Although matte, the lipstick is creamy and nourishing and with a great colour pay-off; the nail polish has a glossy finish and opaque with one application.

... and of course, I saved the best for last!
Even if you're not a nail polish super-fan, I dare you not to drool in front of this mini-vault.
The Kiko Milano Dream Wish Nail Lacquer Set* comes with 7 beautiful colours and a glittery top coat.
The shades are all beautiful and suitable for every skintone: from a milky pinky nude, to a bright coral, to a (rediscovered) warm brown.
The finish is super shiny and the formula contains resins that give the polish a gel effect and longevity, without the need of a UV lamp.

This is truly a winner collection - affordable and of impact!
What are you wishing for to find under the tree?

New In / Kiko Milano Miami Beach Babe Collection

I think colourful make-up packaging can be risky as they may end up looking cheap or trashy - but Kiko Milano got it spot on with its latest collection for Summer 2015: Miami Beach Babe.
The fluo packaging has an eighties & pop art feel but no chance of mistaking it for toy make-up that you used to play with when you were a little girl.

The whole collection screams sea, sun & fun! The vibrant cases are mirrored with bright and lively colours inside to create a playful and glowy look, and the light textures are ideal for the beach, too.

OMG - How cute are these polka dots on the Kiko Milano Deco Delight Lipsticks?!
I mean you got to want to own one of these, right? - and with 8 shades, you're surely spoiled for choice.
06 - Margarita Dreams* is a cool toned fuchsia that will look great in any season, paired with a quick rock-chick eyeliner flick.
07 - Calypso Sun* instead is a true coral that will look fabulous on tanned skin; it is also one of two limited shades available exclusively on the website.

The texture is super creamy with a sheer and wet-look finish, but you can still easily build up the colour with several swipes.

Kiko Milano Double Deco Blush, encased in a round and slim compact with mirror, is another irresistible item from this line.
01 - Coral Gables* is an coral peach, but definitely not too orangy and with an hint of pink.
It combines 2 shades that thanks to reflecting pearls add dimension and radiance to the cheeks; the formula is velvety to the touch and the powder blends uniformly on the skin.

Finally, the range also includes the Kiko Milano Party Ink Stamp Tattoo - temporary tattoos for face or body.
These are great fun to add a playful touch for a beach party - think a star to the corner of your eye or an intricate heart cascade on your wrist.
The stamp works really well without smudges and you can choose between an heart or a star*.

Are you a fan of Kiko Milano? Hurry!!! The collection is currently on offer with 30% off.

New In / Kiko Milano Modern Tribes Collection

Modern Tribes is the new Summer Collection from Italian Make Up Brand - Kiko Milano.
It pays tribute to an earthy, multiethnic globe constantly connected and sharing energy and inspiration.

The collection includes: Sunproof Cream Foundation Spf15, Sunproof Powder Foundation Spf15, Essential Bronzer, Tri-Bal Soul Baked Blush, Sunproof BB Cream Spf30, Graphic Ritual Kajal Eyeliner, Free Spirit Lips & Cheeks, Sahara Glow Highlighter, Dawn Till Dusk Volume Mascara, Modern Tribe Face Brush and 3 Roller Scents.

The skin is bronzed - like kissed and warmed by the sun - with natural nuances and with added pops of colour on the eyes and lips.
The packaging - with wooden cases and gold engravings - perfectly embodies the elegant and tribal soul of this collection.

Kiko Milano Free Spirit Lips & Cheeks are multitasking pencils - as the name says - that work as lipsticks and blushers.
02 Supreme Guava* is my favourite as a blush; the shade is a soft pink with cool undertones that gives a radiant  and refreshed look to the cheeks.
06 Illusion Red* instead is a bright ruby red that was born for a statement lip; I found it also the most comfortable on the lips and still retaining good staying power.

The formulation is soft, doesn't drag on the skin and enriched with antioxidant Vitamin E; they are easy to blend on the cheeks and leave a uniform, vivid coat of colour on the lips.
They both have great pigmentation at the first swipe but are buildable to the desired effect, too.

Each jumbo pencil also comes with their own pencil sharpener - and for £8.90 - that alone is fantastic added value.
What are your  picks from the Modern Tribes Collection?

Review / Kiko Milano Daring Game Collection

The new Daring Game Collection* from Kiko Milano is a stunner!
The packaging is sleek and mysterious and perfectly encapsulates the theme of the collection; a sophisticated, daring woman and confident on her own beauty and femininity!
The colours are perfect to create a sensual mood both for autumn and the upcoming holiday season.

Mystery Smoky Eye Pencil: I love the packaging! The long, metallic cap is unlikely to get loose and make a mess in your handbag or beauty bag… such a simple but ingenious idea – and looks beautiful too!
They are soft and easy to smudge and the shimmer add a touch of glamour to an effortless smoky eye.
13 Wily Bright Wood is a musky green with silver particles that complements brown and green eyes;
17 Heady Rock Brown is a blackened brown with red glitter - subtle but very very pretty!

Color-Up Long Lasting Eyeshadow: I’m a huge fan of crayon make up (blushes, eyeshadows, lip stains). I enjoy the practicality and  versatile creamy consistency.
The formula of these is fantastic! The colour applies uniformly and it's easy to blend; BUT once they set, they don’t budge at all – extreme reliability without creasing!
29 Irresistible Teal is a forest green, whilst 31 Tasteful Indigo is a luminous blue - both with a metallic and contemporary finish.

Don’t be afraid of the colour, tho - They are still subtle enough to be used during the day or to create an intriguing eye look in the evening.

Ace of Diamond Lipstick: the lipstick range comes in a variety of shades, from a neutral pink to a classic red to complement a more daring eye look. The formula is creamy, easy buildable and weightless; the lips appear fuller and with a semi matte, velvety finish.
21 Distinct Golden Hibiscus is a warm berry shade, lightened by golden shimmer, that is sure to brighten any grey autumn morning.

The Daring Game Face Brush has a unique heart shaped head that has been created to work in unison with the Golden Game Sculpting Bronzer, which has a split section with bronzer and highlighter in the same compact (but of course the brush works with any powder).
The bristles are synthetic and of high quality;  they feel soft on the skin and perfectly kiss the cheeks at a perfect angle to create a natural and defined look.
Btw, THAT bronzer!!! I definitely need to get my paws on it... after all it’s someone’s birthday soon *hint hint* ;)

So, what do you think of this collection? Better getting your picks now before it's too late!!!
