Farewell Oasap!

I placed another order on the Oasap website, few weeks ago... if you're not sure what Oasap is, you can have a read to my previous post here... anyway, I was highly disappointed with what I received!

First of all, consistency! The box says Hermes and the bracelet Gucci... then, the website never mentioned anywhere that it is a pure and disgusting fake!
I never buy fakes and I don't care for them; actually, they even detract value from an item, in my opinion and I rather have the high street or the real deal.
On the picture on the website, you can only see a 'g' and again, as I said before, it doesn't say the gucci name anywhere in the description... I understand the disclosure 'the item may be slightly different from the picture' but this is a whole new level of deception. I'm happy with high street interpretation of the latest catwalk trend but purely copying a design is just wrong and bad taste!
Although the cuff is quite nice, per se - I like the colour and the texture of the leather and the pink gold metal - the fact that there's that brand name there, it really puts me off from wearing it; I would have been happier if it simply said Oasap, instead.
Also, these marks on the metal don't seem to come off: they're from the protective film that I peeled off so it's basically glue residue. I polished but they are still there... bottom line - failure all round!
Sweet Candy Shaped Bobble Earrings
I also ordered these earrings - these are exactly what I expected... not much!
Simple, plastic studs but again, the colour is nothing as on the website: sure enough is green but I was expecting a pastel green.
Unfortunately, they also broke the first time I wore them: basically, they just came unglued (easily sorted) but still not acceptable.

On top of that, I believe this website is unjustifiable pricey: the orange bracelet is $46 - really, would YOU pay that?
In the end, I came to the conclusion that I don't really want my blog to be associated with this poor quality merchandise... come on, how possibly could I sell you this sh*t!
I know that technically these items were given to me for free but If I don't like them, they have no value for me and I don't need any more clutter so...
...thank you but no thank you!

Delivery / Topshop

I placed a small order on the Topshop website before Christmas.
I've been looking for some slippers shoes for few months now - A MUST: STUDDED!
I liked these from ASOS but I really didn't want to spend 50quid on them.

I also liked the Vectra from Topshop but I wasn't convince about the suede (considering the scottish wet weather). Then I saw the Vectra3 in the Buchanan Street store, but of course they didn't have my size so I just came home and order them online.

LOOOVE THEM!!!
They are so comfortable - they come in nude an pewter as well... umm, considering buying more - £28 is a good price... Topshop! Can you do them in burgundy, pretty please??!! :D

I, also, got this Green Skinny Elastic Belt for a tenner in the sale...

... and Purple High Waisted Silk Knickers with zips, also in the sale.

Personally, I don't mind ordering on the website since they offer free delivery/returns... do you order online often??
xx

Zoya - Rina

oh dear - I said no more nail polishes, I have too many!!!
Then, I saw this one and I couldn't resist.

It's part of the Zoya Gems and Jewels - Holiday 2011 Collection.
The colour is gorgeous - and the glitter is perfect for the festive season: very Xmas tree-esque. :)
It's a bit tricky to apply because of the bar/sticks type of glitter, especially on the tips but it has such beautiful blue reflections.
It's very metallic, in fact it's difficult to photograph - believe it the photo doesn't do it justice.
I'm in love!! <3
I'm also loving Twila - the blue version... ummm... I might... ;)

YSL Autumn 2011 Look - Midnight Garden

W O W - am i pleased the mind behind the new make up range is Lloyd Simmonds!
He's Yves Saint Laurent make up artist since June 2010 and just came out with the most exciting collection, i've seen so far for the upcoming season.
The inspiration comes from nature where colours represent emotions, feelings - Epitome of life itself!
Bright aqua, iridescent green, shimmering violets that mimic the plumage of birds and vibrancy of tropical palms.

All products are in the ultra-chic shiny gold cases, iconic of YSL.

Blush Radiance no2 & no5

There're 2 matte and 2 shimmering squares in the compact; I have swatch them separately above but they work better blended together, giving a lift to the cheeks. They are easily buildable and comes in 6 shades.

I'm also curious to try no3 (bottom left) - violet blush, I don't have anything quite like that...

Rouge Volupte Perle - no107 Impetuous Beige

This is a gorgeous shade; although, it's classified as 'beige' i would say is more pinkish (than brownish) and a perfect match for me. It gives a subtle veil of colour with a pearly brilliance - totally melts into the lips, really comfortable to wear.

There're 6 hues to choose from:

Ombres 5 Lumieres Eyeshadows - no11

oh my... this is the piece de resistance, of course!
This is the only palette of the collection and they manage to create the most beautiful eyeshadows to play with. My personal favourite are the 2 lighter shades which are infused with blue mother of pearl reflections. I sense that some of you may get scared from all the shimmer but this is not ordinary sparkle - the eyes look luminous and framed at the same time. The powders blends together beautifully and stay put all day.

La Laque - no43 Wintergreen & no44 Moonlight Blue
This are the less exciting of the lot - but still the perfect finish to complete the look.

The collection is available now worldwide.

Delivery / Hobbs

Double delivery today - YAY!

I really like Hobbs - elegant yet edgy designs; what I don't like is the price.
Usually, I wait for the sales as (because of the prices) items don't sold out.
Still, also on sale, pieces are not cheap but the quality and attention to details IS everything!

NW3 Cute Bow Cardi

NW3 Kite Necklace

I'm going to wear the necklace with House of Harlow's earrings... what do you think? :)
