Haul / Handbags

I keep saying no more bags, because I objectively have too many and I'm running out of storage space… but then I inevitably manage to find a good excuse for a new love.
I got these for a discounted price - that's my excuse… ;)

Aubrey Anglesea Metallic Cross Body Bag
I never heard of this brand - Aubrey - before but Asos seems to stock a good selection of their bags. I fell in love with the gold colour and the black contrast strap. I think the texturised finish and the gold details with the bunny badge make it look quite expensive; well, they are not cheap bags - I got this for less than half price at £22.50
It has a magnetic fastening and it's pretty roomy, considering the size.

Fiorelli Tango In The Night Medium Satchel Bag
I like Fiorelli bags - I think they manage to release contemporary pieces, but still remaining classy. I have a few and they also stand the test of time because they are all still in very good conditions.
I saw this bag in Debenhams before Christmas, but I waited for the sales to bag myself a bargain.
I like the contrast colour blocking of the neutral shades that gives it a retro feel; I also love the details, like the central turnlock - specially made for this 25th Anniversary Collection.
I just wish the shoulder strap was removable, in case you wanna use it as grab bag.

Fiorelli Tango In The Night Medium Zip Around Purse
I could have gotten the purse to match the bag, but I decided to get the dusky pink/coral version instead. I preferred this colour combo better on the wallet.
I like flat wallets because  they have plenty of slots for (loyalty) cards, but still room for cash and coins; they also don't take must space in your bag.

Haul / Clothes & Accessories

Autumn always puts me in the mood for shopping. I love buying winter stuff - the colours, the textures, the variety... when it comes to clothes hauls, I'm never sure what to say - Pictures definitely speak louder than words so here is what I picked up recently.

Forever 21 Life In Progress Bleached Denim Shirt Dress
I've been looking for a denim shirt dress exactly like this one, for while!
I can take or leave the bleached effect, but the length is perfect (not too short that I can also wear it at the office) and it has a built-in braided leather elastic belt. I think it would look super sexy with cowboy boots - unfortunately, I just have regular boots ;)

Zara Denim Skater Skirt
A cute weekend alternative - I'm planning to wear it casual with a white shirt tucked in and trainers.

Zara Pinstripe Mini Skirt
There are some fab skirts in Zara, this season!
Love the pinstripes, the ruffle and the fabric is super soft... it's not that mini either.

Dorothy Perkins Cobalt Twist Neck Tee
Something comfortable for the office. I like the texturized effect and what a gorgeous colour... although it looks like it's going to crease like crazy, otherwise I would get one in every colour - it's a nice basic top.

Dorothy Perkins Mirrored Floral Print
I've been wanting this for a while: I like the mirrored effect, the floral, the pastels and the more you look the more you see stuff (never noticed the ballerina until now). It's very flattering on, too!

I scored these Warehouse earrings for £2 - woop woop - I think they are cute! :)

Also, picked up a couple of items from the Asos sales:

Matt And Nat Japanese Paper Wallet
I thought the distressed effect was pretty cool and also the wrap around string. It looks pretty roomy but at the same time compact and flat.

Becksondergaard C-Starry Sky Burgundy Scarf
umm, like I need another scarf (!)
Personally, I don't know this brand but there is a bunch of different scarves on sale for £8, down from £33 so I decided to buy one and then see if I liked it. I like it! :)
It's very long but thin so you can wrap it around easily; I like burgundy and the silver stars that are stitched on.

... that's all folks! :)

Inside the Jewellery Box...

I started this series few months ago and I got to say I received some really positive and nice feedback from you, guys... Thank you so much for your lovely comments!
Today I'm gonna share some custom rings that I own:
I prefer thin rings and my favourite are stackable ones; I don't mind a big statement cocktail ring but it has to have a thin back, otherwise I find it uncomfortable to wear and make my fingers swell.
I like to wear these 2 rings together - the hammered on the left is from Accessorize and the second from Orelia @ Topshop. I like the dark stones and I think they look good together.
This set is from Topshop, few years ago - I usually wear them all together, spread on middle and index finger. My favourite are the rose and white band with the hearts.
The 3 rings on the right were an absolute steal. I got them on ebay 4 years ago and paid £2 for them. The metal is still vibrant as the day I got them... shame the ebay shop is now closed, I would have picked more.
The purple bow ring is from Asos, it was also £2 on sale - It's cute!
This ring is from Dannijo - I like the oxidized metal, the chain and the military-esque stars.
Probably the biggest ring I have - my husband always says that it doubles as a weapon... hehe fair enough! ;)
Left ring: I really like purple&turquoise combo. I actually found it on the floor in a club I used to work when I lived in Cardiff... It's from Swarovski and it fits so I decided to keep it. I really like it, actually.
I like the idea of the laser cut diamond shape but this ring is just soooo impractical to wear.
Cocktail rings:
l-r: Topshop, Topshop, New Look, Miss Selfridge, Warehouse
This is one of my favourite - I like blush, as a colour, a lot!
I wear it with this bangle set with the matching blush bracelet and distressed metal.
 Another cheap set from Asos.
Rose gold is my favourite metal, currently and I thought the thin, empty hearts of the earrings were quite cool.
Finally, the oldest and most precious of the set: this is a Russian gold ring and my mum bought it for me, about 15 years ago. Love the vintage, classic style.
So, what do you think?
I'd like to see some of your pieces too - link me back to your blogs :)

Delivery / Asos

I placed a cheeky order on Asos.com few weeks ago... well, not that cheeky after all since everything was on sale.
Yeah, I kinda of trained myself to avoid the website, otherwise I would order something every bloody week - still, I let myself indulge during the sales... good compromise, right?! ;)

ASOS Lula Ballet Flats with Colour Block
I've been wanting a pair of pastel flats for few months but couldn't decide on the colour... so I went multicolour - yay - and I like the metallic inserts, too.
These were pretty affordable at normal price (£25) but I got them for 13quid which I'm very pleased with. I wear a 7Uk and the shoes are a bit on the large side but the 6 was too small... oh the joy of being an half size, NOT!!!
They didn't come in a box but they sent them in a dust bag, at least.
Oasis Pearl Flower Stretch Ring & Earrings
That's a lovely wee set for under a tenner! The earrings were £6 (down from £10) and the ring only £3 (down from £12).
The rose gold caught my eyes, at first... and then I thought that the pearl and the black enamel combo were kinda of Marc Jacobs-esque, too.
I just wish the earrings thingy on the back was central but they are small enough that the flower doesn't actually hang off the earlobe (am I making any sense here??!)
Nice detailing of the metal, tho and the ring is stretching so is very comfortable and no issue with the size there.
 Ted Baker Raspberry Ring
There's a whole series of jelly fruits from Ted Baker... I've also seen a yellow lemon and green apple; you can get the matching pendant, too but I actually got the ring to wear it with an Hobbs necklace that I already got (just realised that I never featured it on the blog so I'm gonna post a pic below).
I wanna bite it!!!
As always, every detail is perfect - there's an engraving with the brand and the size on the inside of the ring and the packaging per se is outstanding.
Hobbs necklace

Did you hit the Asos sale? :)

Delivery / Asos

Few bits that I picked up in the ASOS sale

A Wear Dress with Angel Sleeve Details
This is very flattering - the elastic waistline makes my waist look tiny; also, the angel sleeves are great for hiding... let's say undefined biceps ;)
Love the nautical print but it's got that extra edge of the contrast between the green boats and the blue.
I've, already, wore it once at a friend's bbq (look to follow soon).

ASOS Blouse with Lace Trims and Bow Detail
This is the ultimate romantic blouse - it's so pretty with the sheer chiffon and the lace.
It's, also, on trend with the nautical theme, again (I'm obsessed, apparently... hehe) with the blue of the details and the squared sailor collar.
I'm not a fan of the cropped cut but I need to wear a vest underneath anyway because it's see-through.
I had been keeping an eye on this shirt for a while and once it got on sale, I had to have it! :)

Do you buy from Asos, often?
