Christmas 2014 / Living Nature Pure Radiance Gift Box

Yes, it is indeed already time to talk about Christmas presents; personally, every year I aim to finish my Xmas shopping by the beginning of December (and I’m currently in full shopping mode right now), so I feel this is actually good timing.

The Living Nature’s Pure Radiance Gift Box includes the Radiance Night Oil and the Lip Hydrator. Living Nature is a certified natural brand from New Zealand which harness the unique properties of this land botanicals; this gift is the perfect luxurious, healthy token to pamper your loved ones.

I’ve been using the Living Nature Lip Hydrator* in the last couple of weeks and I’m well impressed.
It doesn’t have any fancy strong flavour – which is a bonus in my opinion – or fancy packaging, but it’s simply a good performing product that provided instant relief.
I’ve really been suffering from chapped lips lately and tried any lip balm in my stash, without any long lasting effect; this balm alone  dramatically improved my lips condition thanks to nourishing butters, oils and Manuka honey.
It’s actually an advanced treatment that also doubles up as a lip primer and contains mica that provides sun protection during the day.

The other item in the set is the Living Nature Radiance Night Oil which is a night youthful elixir! It contains calendula, jojoba, rosehip, rose petals, frankincense, vitamin A and E to balance, rejuvenate and improve the radiance of the skin.

You can buy your gift from www.botanicalbrands.com for £38

New In / Nourish Kale Enzymatic Exfoliating Cleanser

I’m a big fan of the Nourish Revital-Eyes Kale Biomimetic Anti-Ageing Eye Cream and in fact it’s been a staple in my everyday routine for months. So, I was mostly excited when I heard about the new addition to the kale range with the Nourish Kale Enzymatic Exfoliating Cleanser*.

Let’s give merit where merit lies! This product is a multitasker and an half!
First of all, it can be used as a cleanser. You massage it over wet skin to create a milky emulsion;
then it can also be used as a flash daily mask, if you leave it on pose for 2 minutes; or as a weekly treatment, applied on clean and dry skin for 5 minutes and finally rinsed it off with some cold water.
My personal favourite is as cleanser - it leaves the skin soft and clean; but also as a mask - it’s great to refresh the complexion and mute down any redness.

The consistency is like a grainy cream, green in colour and with a slight leafy scent, which is quite peculiar and pleasant; I love the natural approach and the use of quality ingredients that is a guarantee when talking about Nourish. I just wish the tube was a bit bigger, I’m going through this baby like crazy and I use it everyday.

Review / Pulpe De Vie Luscious Glow

Pulpe de Vie is an organic and natural French brand that doesn't use essential oils but fruit and vegetable extracts instead; it's also certified organic by Ecocert and Cosmebio, free of parabens, silicons, GMOs and not tested on animals.

The Pulpe de Vie Luscious Glow* is a fruity moisturizing body milk with added glamorous sparkles that gives a flattering, sexy glow to the skin.
The formula contains grapefruit and blackcurrant waters, yogurt proteins to provide lasting hydration. It's rich in vitamins and anti-oxidants to protect and nourish the skin too; it feels light, non sticky and leaves the skin super soft to the touch.
The divine scent of pink grapefruit instantly transports me to a sunny Mediterranean countryside and makes me daydream of holidays.
Love the fun and colourful packaging too!
This lotion is a delight to use and perfect to add a little sparkle to these grey autumn mornings!

Have you tried Pulpe De Vie yet? What do you recommend?

Review / Kiko Milano Daring Game Collection

The new Daring Game Collection* from Kiko Milano is a stunner!
The packaging is sleek and mysterious and perfectly encapsulates the theme of the collection; a sophisticated, daring woman and confident on her own beauty and femininity!
The colours are perfect to create a sensual mood both for autumn and the upcoming holiday season.

Mystery Smoky Eye Pencil: I love the packaging! The long, metallic cap is unlikely to get loose and make a mess in your handbag or beauty bag… such a simple but ingenious idea – and looks beautiful too!
They are soft and easy to smudge and the shimmer add a touch of glamour to an effortless smoky eye.
13 Wily Bright Wood is a musky green with silver particles that complements brown and green eyes;
17 Heady Rock Brown is a blackened brown with red glitter - subtle but very very pretty!

Color-Up Long Lasting Eyeshadow: I’m a huge fan of crayon make up (blushes, eyeshadows, lip stains). I enjoy the practicality and  versatile creamy consistency.
The formula of these is fantastic! The colour applies uniformly and it's easy to blend; BUT once they set, they don’t budge at all – extreme reliability without creasing!
29 Irresistible Teal is a forest green, whilst 31 Tasteful Indigo is a luminous blue - both with a metallic and contemporary finish.

Don’t be afraid of the colour, tho - They are still subtle enough to be used during the day or to create an intriguing eye look in the evening.

Ace of Diamond Lipstick: the lipstick range comes in a variety of shades, from a neutral pink to a classic red to complement a more daring eye look. The formula is creamy, easy buildable and weightless; the lips appear fuller and with a semi matte, velvety finish.
21 Distinct Golden Hibiscus is a warm berry shade, lightened by golden shimmer, that is sure to brighten any grey autumn morning.

The Daring Game Face Brush has a unique heart shaped head that has been created to work in unison with the Golden Game Sculpting Bronzer, which has a split section with bronzer and highlighter in the same compact (but of course the brush works with any powder).
The bristles are synthetic and of high quality;  they feel soft on the skin and perfectly kiss the cheeks at a perfect angle to create a natural and defined look.
Btw, THAT bronzer!!! I definitely need to get my paws on it... after all it’s someone’s birthday soon *hint hint* ;)

So, what do you think of this collection? Better getting your picks now before it's too late!!!
