Introducing / 100% Pure

100% Pure is 100% pure!
Their skin and body products contain all-natural ingredients, naturally sources and absolutely no chemicals, artificial fragrances, preservatives or toxins.
100% Pure Cosmetics are made from fruits and vegetables pigments so no synthetics dyes or minerals to upset or clog  your pores.
You also get the healthy nutrients, antioxidants and vitamins from the fruits directly on your skin

100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Blush in Plum*
Let's start from the beginning - surely, you can't help but be attracted by the packaging. The metal tin is so cute and love the fact that they also added a mirror.
The blush itself is extremely smooth and buttery and applies uniformly; this shade can look a bit scary in the pan but actually adds a luminous coat of colour to the cheeks and it complements beautifully the lip glaze Peach Bellini.
I don't think I have anything quite so bright in my collection but I can see it becoming a staple in my summer: looks stunning on tanned skin!

100% Pure Lip Glaze in Peach Bellini*
This gorgeous lip balm is extremely moisturizing thanks to the avocado and cocoa butter. It glides on the lips effortlessly, leaving a flattering hint of colour; I'm actually surprised at how buildable it is so you don't have to compromise between soft lips or colour - it's the best of both worlds!
I'm quickly going through this tube and it's a treat to re-apply during the day. There are over 20 shades - one more beautiful than the other - and with mouthwatering names. :)

100% Pure Pink Grapefruit Body Scrub*
On top of these remarkable make up items, 100% Pure also does skin and bodycare lines.
This scrub - for instance - is a further example of the quality of this brand. You get a generous jar with a simple and 'pure' looking label. The composition is also impressive: skin brightening fruit acids, moisturizing fruit oils and anti-aging vitamins and antioxidants. The smell can be nothing but natural pink grapefruit... and I want to eat it!

It's an hardcore scrub to smooth bumps and refine the skin; the granules are 'suspended' in a deep oil layer that helps spread the product and nourish the skin.
It's perfect to use whilst running a bath, so the oils that fall in the bathtub, further enhance your bath experience.

Have you tried 100% Pure products yet? I can't recommend them enough!!!

Review / Neve Cosmetics Flat Perfection

I like mineral foundations but I don't enjoy the fussiness of loose powders so I've been looking into getting a pressed version for a while... when Neve Cosmetics Flat Perfection* came along just at the right time.
The product is very light and fine but still provides good coverage and reduces redness as well; it comes in 8 shades with  a choice of undertones: neutral, rose, warm.
The neutral shades are perfect for me: Light Neutral is my skin to a tee, whilst Fair Neutral is a bit too light. Of course, you can mix different powders to achieve perfection but I have actually been using the lighter shade for touch ups, during the day.

I like to use a kabuki brush for application - it blends easily and it's perfect for early mornings because I get my face on in a matter of seconds.  It's totally been my savior for the last few scorching days because provides better longevity than liquid foundation, on my skin type. It also let me skip an extra step (liquid foundation, powder)... it's like a practical 2-in-1 product really.

About the packaging - not sure if you can tell from the pictures but the sleek compact reminds me of a smooth pebble and in fact the harmonious design took inspiration from stones of a zen garden. :)

Have you tried Neve Cosmetics yet? Do you prefer liquid or powder foundation?

Review / Dirty Works Coconut Caress Body Scrub

If you know me, you know I love everything coconut AND purple so I couldn't fail to love this scrub!
Dirty Works is one of my favourite budget brands, without a doubt; the products perform well and the attention to details - like the packaging - is something that I personally look for and appreciate when I research my brands.
In this instance, the purple container is pretty cute (and important) if like me, you care about a pretty display in the bathroom too.

I already knew Dirty Works skincare line is fantastic and Coconut Caress Body Scrub* is now another reason why I love this brand so much!

The tube is perfect to use in the shower and the consistency is creamy and spreads easily on dry skin too (how I like it!).
The walnut shell granules help remove dead skin cells and prepare your body for the perfect tan; the coconut oil - apart the awesome scent! - also locks in moisture and revitalize the skin.
The Coconut Caress Collection includes a body wash too - with their exotic scent, they are the perfect combo to get you in the holiday mood!
Pretty great value for money at £3.99 for a 200ml bottle.

Are you a fan of Dirty Works like me? :)
