Easter Bag / My New Baby

My family sent me this bag as a Easter present - I heart it!!!

The bag is from Zara, ideal to accessorize a cocktail dress and the perfect timeless piece.

It has a fabric printed panel in the front and the leather part has the same embossed pattern as the fabric.

It comes with a shoulder chain strap and it's surprisingly roomy, with 2 slip pockets.

Hehe - my sister confessed that she liked it so much herself that she nearly never sent it over... I'm glad she changed her mind! Thanks sis! :P xxx

Eyeliner Effet Faux Cils

This is my favourite item of the collection! I use cream eyeliner regularly and the colour is a nice change to a boring black, plus intense enough to give depth to the eyes.
 The swatch above is no. 4 Sea Black, a rich metallic blue... isn't it gorgeous?
To be honest, I've fallen in love with every single pot available -  they come in 6 shades: Black, Grey, Bronze, Blue, Burgundy, Green.


Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils

Another classic revisited for the new season!
The colour I got is no. 5 Cherry Black, which you can't really tell from the picture (sorry) but it's a deep purplish black. It's perfect to complement my green eyes, adding a bit of sparkle to the look.
But if your eyes are another colour - not to worry - the mascara also comes in the same 6 version as the eyeliner.
I really like the brush: it has got a slight twist which helps grab also the smallest lashes.


Eyeliner Effet Faux Cils

Confession: I've never used a liquid eyeliner before!!
As mentioned before, my tool of choice is the cream version; mainly because I always thought the tip of these pens looks too big and secondly I was worried it would dry out faster.
I'm a converted user now!! This pen is so easy to use and very precise, plus I'm liking the wet, bright look you can achive with liquid liner, instead of the matte finish of a cream one.

It's a really good quality polish: it dries super fast, good coverage and it's a proper blue! Many others I've seen on the high street just end up looking black.

I wanna try the bronze so bad but it seems to be sold out everywhere!! :(

I never bought a 'boyfriend jacket' since the trend came out some years ago but I love this one instantly! I tried the black version in store but I wanted it in this colour so I had to order it online.

What I like the most about this vintage inspired ring is the colour of the stone - Amber.

Nail in Celestial

I'm loving this! Also, it stayed on for a whole week with nearly any chipping. Recommended! 

I went for an haircut today: I always go to Vidal Sasson in Princes Square 'cause I really like my stylist - and once you find someone you trust, stick with them. ;)

After that, I went to Boots to pick up few essentials (nail varnish remover, shower gel, shampoo) and also the lipstick I mentioned in the previous post (they're still running 3for2 on make up so also got an eyeshadow and clear nail polish).





Revlon Just Bitten in Frenzy: I have attached a swatch below (the top segment is with balm and below without) and also a picture with Essie' nail polish so you can just yourself if they're a good match. :)

L'Oreal Chrome Intensityin Blue Jean: only have another blue eyeshadow from MAC Tartan Tale palette but don't like the finish; I will use this one to add a little sparkle.

Topshop' Cameo Set

I bought this necklace in Spring 2008; I got to say I haven't worn it much mainly because I don't have any other accessorise that goes with it...then...




...then a couple of weeks ago I spotted a similar bracelet on a YouTube video but I never saw it and wasn't sure if I could still find it in store, so I started to look for it on eBay and quickly found one for around £3... Score!!! :D

WONDERful delivery

received my Converse Wonder Woman edition from ASOS this morning - they are sooooo cool! :) i was looking to buy another pair of converse, probably in blue, jeans, denim - then I saw these and i was sold!

the outside canvas is in powder blue (close enough to a stonewash denim) with white stars stitched on it: love that detailing, the stitching!

the tongue is red of course to complement the blue with Wonder Woman colours;

the inside lining looks like pages from a comic and also got three difference colour of laces.

the best part is that I only paid £35 for them as Richard got me a groupon voucher for £20 discount.

MAC also relised a WWoman collection last month but I didn't get any item: loved the packaging of the compacts but nothing really caught my eye, in terms of shade.

Very Very Pretty

this week Very.co.uk had the 3 for 2 promotion on, so I ordered three pieces, but just kept this dress: the shoes were too small and they were supposed to be blue but they were actually purple (!!!!) and the other dress was just not at all as the picture on the webiste.
It adds to the 'blue collection' that I'm buiding this season, but with the pink in the print I can wear it diversily. Love the details in the hem and it also got a waist belt.
Also, paid basically nothing for it: on top of the 3 for 2, I also got 50% cashback... so I reckon it cost me £9... Yaldi!!!

Love this knit! it is largely big, so can be worn as a dress con leggings, but need a vest underneath as it has splits on both sides... it's more like a closed waistcoast... if it makes sense...
